Two foundational workshops give you a full understanding of Dermalogica and our offerings. Complete them to earn your Dermalogica Certified certificate and unlock the rest of our education calendar.

Open to professional skin therapists and front desk staff. Learn our professional and retail lines, targeted systems and facemapping.
Take Get Started first. Once you have, every other workshop on the calendar opens up, except the Expert-only workshops, which need the Expert Pathway.
Working at a partnered salon or spa? You should already be able to book. Graduate of a partnership school? See our students and graduates page.
Book it in Skinstudy. It is the one workshop you need before booking any other.
Finish Franchise Focus to earn your Dermalogica Certified certificate.
When you finish Get Started with Dermalogica and Franchise Focus, you receive your Dermalogica Certified certificate by email. If you attend Franchise Focus in person, you also receive a printed copy at the end of the class.
You also keep full access to the education calendar.
Dermalogica Certified is the first step on our education pathway. From here you can work toward Specialist and Expert. After Get Started, those workshops can be taken in any order.
Professional skin therapists and front desk staff at partnered salons and spas, and graduates of Dermalogica partnership schools in their six months after graduating.
Most workshops are complimentary for staff at partnered salons and spas, and for graduates of partnership schools for six months after graduating.
Get Started with Dermalogica is 6 hours in person or 3 hours by livestream. Franchise Focus is 3 hours in person or 2 hours by livestream.
Both count the same. In person is recommended to get the most out of your day, as you’re able to play with the products and participate in activities as well as ask questions of the instructor throughout the day. Foundational classes run once a month at our Vancouver Learning Loft and our Toronto Training Centre, and twice a month by livestream at different times.
At least 85% attendance and participation. Join on time and stay for the full session.
After you finish both workshops, by email. In-person Franchise Focus attendees also receive a printed copy at the end of the class. This can also be accessed anytime on Skinstudy under the Pathway > Certificates
