Attend one of our undergraduate student events to learn the science of skin, watch advanced treatments and meet the experts. Events run in person in Toronto and Vancouver, and by livestream.

Graduates of a partnership school get complimentary access to Dermalogica professional education for six months. Take as many workshops as you like, repeat them, and work toward Dermalogica Certified, Specialist and Expert.

Email [email protected] a screenshot or file of your official transcript or certificate. It should show your full name, graduation date, program and school. Some schools send us their graduate lists directly, so we may already have you.
We register you in Skinstudy by hand. You will receive a welcome email so you can set your password and sign in.
Start with Get Started with Dermalogica. Once you have taken it, you can book any other workshop for the rest of your six months.
Attending a workshop gives you access to our student store.
Graduates of a Dermalogica partnership school, for six months after graduation. Employees of a partnered salon or spa also take workshops complimentary while they work there.
Workshops are for graduates of partnership schools and for partner salon and spa teams. If you are not in either group, these are good ways to keep learning: IDI Community, Treating Melanin-Rich Skin and Clean Touch Certified.
From your graduation date. Most schools require you to finish your full program first, so please contact us after you graduate. Some schools have exceptions to this.
Get Started with Dermalogica is 6 hours in person or 3 hours by livestream. Franchise Focus is 3 hours in person or 2 hours by livestream. In person runs once a month at our Vancouver Learning Loft and our Toronto Training Centre, and livestream runs twice a month at different times. For graduates, we recommend in-person where possible as hands-on livestreaming workshops may require product you do not have on hand, and we provide that in our training centres.
Get Started with Dermalogica is the only workshop you need before booking others. We recommend Franchise Focus next: with Get Started, it makes you Dermalogica Certified, and both are part of the Expert pathway.
Yes, depending on your availability. See the education pathway for the steps, and book early, because seats are first come, first served.
You keep your education history and Expert status. To keep taking workshops and receiving Expert perks, you need to work at a Dermalogica partnered salon or spa.

For hands-on workshops, wear professional skin therapist attire: short sleeves, a full-length top (no crop tops), closed-toe shoes, hair back and nails short. See our booking and policies page for more.
Yes, to all workshops at our Learning Centres, on livestream and On-Tour. It does not apply to trainings we deliver at your school. Please cancel at least 48 hours ahead if you cannot attend. Details are on our booking and policies page.
